Another Big Game Saturday - Against The Stags

By GBFC Site Manager

The relegation battle continues for the BORO’ at home on Saturday

Fellow relegation strugglers Walton Casuals are in town on Saturday - kick off 3pm

After Gosport Borough’s defeat last weekend against Tiverton, and the amazing seven goal victory for Dorchester on Tuesday night, the BORO’ find themselves in the bottom three going into Saturday’s game.

Gosport need to start picking up points and it needs to start on Saturday against ‘The Stags’ who are looking to do the double over the home team after beating the BORO’ back in early October by 3 goals to 1

Craig McAllister was not impressed by last Saturday’s performance and is looking for a massive reaction from the Boy’s in this game - commenting

‘last week we let ourselves down and we can’t let that happen again.

‘With eight games to go, there are lots of points to play for, but we need to focus and deliver performances....starting today.

Obviously the absence of injured Pat Suraci is a major blow to the BORO’ but it gives other players their chance, including recent signing James Cowan.

Other squad news is that Jordan Brookes has joined AFC Portchester and David Jerrard has signed for Winchester City.

More team news will be posted nearer the game.

The league table available on the home page clearly highlights how perilous BORO’s situation is, but also shows how a couple of wins could change everything.

Come on the BORO’ - kick off 3pm
