Boro' sign McAllister

Experienced striker Craig McAllister has signed for Gosport this evening after leaving Eastleigh by mutual consent.

Gosport Borough Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of experienced striker Craig McAllister.

37-year-old McAllister joins as a player/coach after leaving Eastleigh earlier today.

He has enjoyed a long and successful career which seen him play both professionally and in the upper echelons of non-league football.

Among his many clubs are Exeter City, Barnet, Luton Town, Woking, Rushden & Diamonds, Crawley Town and Newport County. Craig's career has spanned almost two decades and has seen many highlights.

When with Crawley Town, he was part of the team that played Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2011 with Steve Evans' side eventually losing 1-0. Most recently he has been with hometown club Eastleigh following a two-year spell at Paul Doswell's Sutton United.

The club wish Craig a warm welcome and a successful stay at Privett Park.
