Game Day - Away to the Dolphins

By GBFC Site Manager

Gosport travel to Poole Town with Macca calling for better concentration.

Gosport Borough’s Manager Craig McAllister, has called on his team to deliver more concentration as they look to do the double on today’s opponents, after a memorable victory against Poole Town FC 3 - 2 earlier in the season at Privett Park.

After the disappointment of losing last time out on New Year’s Day against Wimborne, the BORO’ need to bounce back.

Gosport will be without talented on loan central defender Matt Casey, after he was recalled by Pompey ahead of their FA Cup fixture today against Norwich, and the Checkatrade Trophy game against Southend next Tuesday.

However our other talented young defender Mathew Weaire on loan from Brighton is available for selection and could step back into the heart of the defence.

Poole Town currently have 29 points just 1 more than the BORO’ although they have played fewer games.

Today’s game will need better concentration from our boys if we are to deliver the double over the Dolphins, but that great win over them back in October showed that when Gosport are on their game they are a match for anyone.

Come on the BORO’
