Salisbury game re-arranged

A new date for friendly against Steve Claridge's team has been arranged following Tuesday night's postponement.

Last night's postponed friendly against Southern League South & West side Salisbury has been rearranged, with both side hoping it is third time lucky.

The game at Privett Park unsurprisingly fell victim to yesterday's monsoon conditions and was called off mid afternoon.

However, both clubs feel the game would still be beneficial to their pre-season preparations and have rearranged the fixture for next Tuesday (8th August) at Privett Park with a 7.45pm kick off.

A fortnight ago, the original game at Salisbury's Ray Mac Stadium was also called off with half an hour until kick off for the same reason, so both clubs will hope for better luck next Tuesday.
