Former Gosport player Lee Molyneaux has agreed to join the BORO’ journey as the club’s new football manager.
Wasting no time, Lee has secured the services of Kevin and Ben to complete an exciting new management team.
Speaking to the club’s website, Lee gave his initial thoughts.
‘Too many stars aligned for me not to be interested In the position. I have personal ties to the club and a clear vision for its future.
Over recent years Gosport has been unable to push on for one reason or another, now with a plan in place, plenty of hard work and dedication we can change the fortune of the club.
Myself and the chairman have spoken in depth and it’s clear that we both want the same things for the club. Together, with all at the club we are confident that we can reignite the connection with the clubs community and the local people.
I am confident in my own ability and will not allow this to fail, I know what it takes to win games at this level having won this league twice as a player.
As a manager I know the attention to detail that it will take and the environment that needs to be created and there’s no doubt we are starting on the front foot appointing Kevin Braybrook as Head Coach and Ben Kneller as my assistant. Ben is a non league guru who’s passion & knowledge of non league and relentless commitment is unquestionable. Kevin is a 2 x UEFA A pro licence coach! Say no more! If that doesn’t show our intention I’m not sure what does!
This is the start of a new Era at Privett Park and I’m delighted to be a part of this new journey.
More comment will follow, but for now welcome back to the BORO’ Lee and welcome Kevin & Ben.
Come on the BORO’
